Nanotechnologies are deployable in an increasing number of applications. However, social acceptability of these technologies cannot be taken for granted.<\/h3>\n

There are two key objectives in terms of standardization: support the development of nanotechnologies while guarding against their potential negative effects and help capitalize on research findings to facilitate their transfer to industrial environments.\u00a0Work is in progress under the aegis of AFNOR and CEN.<\/p>\n
